Over the past one year, I have bought 2 mouthorgans from Chandrama Art (owner Mr Chayan Chatterjee) – an Easttop Forerunner 2.0 key of A and more recently, a Kongsheng KB-12 (reverse slidered to C#). Both are excellent…no issues at all. My numerous telephonic interactions with him over the the last 18+ months have have convinced me of the following :
1. He tests out the products himself (and he is an excellent player). So the chances of your getting a defective product, right at the outset, is very very slim.
2. He gives you the right suggestions, once you have given him your budget range.
3. Since he is the authorised dealer and service provider of nearly all the top harmonica brands, his internal knowledge of products is vast.

I bought a Suzuki SCX-48 C scale after a long discussion with Mr. Chayan Chatterjee for my Son Suranjit Ghosh, he also highlighted the pros and cons. After sales service commitment and execution is excellent. I like to tell an incident after a year or so one of the Suzuki-48 reed got broken. I contacted Chandra Arts, they repaired it to the original form and also explain the repairing cost as well and later on I decided to buy East-top forerunner C scale harmonica as a spare. They also reverse the slider for both the harmonicas. I specially like to thank Mr. Chayan Chatterjee for this amiable behavior and wish them well in all their endeavors.
As a harmonica player playing along with my guitar, I have unique requirements.
I fix my harmonica on a neck holder and play along with my guitar for rhythm support.
This allows me to play harmonica hand free and play chords on my guitar.
I also use a drum machine playing using my foot.
In this way, I am almost a one man band.

1. How to play all chromatic notes without using a button when my hands are busy using the guitar?
2. How to provide a good miking for harmonica since the mic on a mic stand is not capturing it effectively because of frequent head movements?
3. How to ensure the mic does capture background noise since the gain would be always at max?
4. Playing in noisy environment means playing hard and frequent service requirements. Who will support me?

He proposed and convinced me to go ahead with Seydel Non-Slider harmonica which has been god send.
I am now able to play the full spectrum of notes without using button.
He also gave ideas about harmonica holders like Seydel Gecko harmonica holder.

I purchased a Seydel Deluxe Steel Chromatic harmonica in the key of ‘Bb’ sometime back. Initially it was out of stock and I had requested Chayan Babu/ Chandrama Art team to apprise me of its availability. Chayan Babu not only remembered my request, but was very kind to personally contact me to inform about its availability……such is the degree of professionalism and dedication towards the work he is doing so passionately. The instrument was delivered to me in very secure packing within 48 hours of placement of the order. I have been playing the harmonica for some time now and find it to be a superb instrument……very airtight and excellent reeds response. Being in the key of ‘Bb’, the sound is mellower than ‘C’ or ‘C#’, but is extremely pleasing to the ears.

I contact Sri Chayan Chatterjee of CHANDRAMA ART for repairing of my 27 years old HOHER 270 Chromatic Harmonica. I had an idea that Harmonica cannot be repaired, at least not in India. But it has been changed after a long discussion with Sri Chatterjee and now I hope that I would be able to play my favorite Harmonica again.
I have purchased a new Easttop EAP-12 Chromatic Harmonica from CHANDRAMA ART, after a long technical discussion with Sri Chatterjee. I am comfortable with Reversed Slider Harmonicas. Mr. Chatterjee has arranged to reverse the slider of the harmonica before delivery. Delivery of the harmonica is also unbelievable. I am staying at the Northest part of India at Ernakulam, Kerala. But I get my Harmonica on the very next day of my order placing.

I have been associated with Mr Chayan ( Chandrama arts) since last 9 months. Initially I purchased one Hohner chromatic 270 Deluxe from him and started playing for the first time. Later with his technical guidance I could gain some knowledge about harmonica design which was useful for my performance.
So far I have taken 5 harmonicas in different keys(Hohner, Suzuki, Easttop) from him. All are very good.
Good thing what I noticed about him, that he never speaks to impress like other sellers . He expresses what is fact and sometimes it is very blunt for me (due to my ignorance), but later I realised what he says is based on years of his experience in this field. Dabell Contender Solo tuned harmonica is a welcome addition to my collection… I mostly play bollywood and the richter tuned diatonic are not suitable… This is a lovely little harmonica with very sweet sound. I purchased the Suzuki SCX 48 harmonica a few months back from Mr Chayan Chatterjee of Chandrama art and it is working smoothly. He helped me to choose the harmonica suitable for me considering my age over 60 years. It was delivered promptly and packaging was excellent. I am writing this review after a long time on Hohner CX 12 after purchasing it. As per my point of view this Hohner CX 12 is the right choice for those who are struggling to get the appropriate sound or tune in initial stages of lerning, off coures who are serious about harmonica playing – specially for self lerner.
Air tightness is excellent , sound is loud and clear and specially it is very easier to play – Blow and Draw is much easier. It is very easy to maintain also. You can personally clean this. The Slider is good and allow you to understand its uses in the initial statges of lerning and practice.
I MUST SAY that Every Beginner sholud collect this product and upgrade their quality of performance.

I am a beginner. I am 61 year man working in Medical College Hospital, Kolkata. I like to fulfill my hobby to play harmonica. I have heard about Easttop, Hohner etc. Should I need a scale changing one? Will a budget around Rs 5000 to purchase a new harmonica is suitable for me? I am not a professional; it’s a hobby only. Recently I got my Suzuki SCX 64 repaired. Small cotton ball had got into one of the groves in the comb as I used to clean the harmonica with Johnson ear buds as advised by some so called expert. Mr. Chayan Chatterjee repaired my 5 year old harmonica and it sounds brand new now. I am the treasurer of The Bangalore Harmonica Club. I had purchased one Harmonica, from a leading online shop at a higher cost. But the harmonica was stopped playing within a month due to some reeds were broken. I’m learning Harmonica from Kuntal Sil sir at Chinsurah who advised me to buy original branded harmonica from Chayan Chatterjee, owner of Chandrama Art at Baidyabati. Purchased dabell a few weeks back.it has got some unique sound quality and very convenient to hold,more so the comb is made up of special material which does not hurt your lips.
